This is by far
This is by far a powerful retinol! I started out slowly with a .5 for months before purchasing this 1% but my skin still slightly purged. It wasn’t nothing a good thick moisturizer couldn’t hide however I do go through a week of the uglies at first. One time I can tell you is to first apply a good moisturizer then go in with a light layer of this then another layer of thick moisturizer. It’s extremely powerful do not start retinol with this 1% or you will be sorry. The product is fantastic and does what it claims just make sure your using it correctly! It’s highly recommended from me!

Skin is softer but lines are way worse
I have been using this product for about 5 months several nights a week, the pea sized amount on clean dry skin, followed by a moisturizer. My skin feels softer but the lines under my eyes are multiplied, very crepey and even my cheeks are lined when I smile. I’m only 39 and I feel much older. I’m not sure whether to keep pushing through or what.
